Acre Restaurant, located at 6325 Lewis St. in Parkville, Mo., features the bounty of the Midwest prepared on a custom, Missouri-forged wood-burning hearth under the direction of Chef Andrew Longres.
Prior to opening Acre in August 2022, Chef Longres trained at The French Laundry, Bluestem and The American Restaurant. Acre pays homage to Rolling Acres, Longres’ grandparents’ farm in Liberty, Mo.
The menu features a dry-aged steak program, plus signature dishes such as fried chicken with pickles, hot sauce and honey; 8-ounce dry-aged Black Angus burger with aged Cheddar and apple wood-smoked bacon on a house-made bun with garlic fries; and house-made ricotta cappelletti with braised rabbit, Parmesan mousseline and parsley crumbs.
While adults can enjoy innovative, seasonal craft cocktails and delicious, affordably priced wines, kids can order off the Quarter Acre Menu.
Diners may also indulge in the Acre Chef Counter Hearth Experience or Chef Cooking Class, both intimate chef-driven experiences designed for four.
The upscale-casual space designed by Herron + Partners, with art by Kansas City artist Jennifer Janesko, offers 90 seats in the dining room, a private room for up to 10, plus 30 patio seats, weather permitting. Reservations are highly encouraged.
